Last afternoon we had been to the Philippine Independence Day celebrations at Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi. A very nice organized and well visited event. Check below a few pictures we snapped:
- EOS 650D
- Sigma 18-200mm lens
- shot at 18mm
- 1/160 sec @ f4.0

I am since years passing by the area where Deerfields Townsquare had opened it doors not too long ago… Today i decided to stop by and have a walk through. I was very early so it is not too crowded. I was a bit wondering that at 8.30 Carrefour is not open yet unlike in every Mall they are in Dubai, but fine. The Ground floor is having quite some shops already , specially Anchor-stores as Carrefour, H&M and Centerpoint. In the end there is nothing spectacular here as it is just like any Mall with more or less the same shops. The second and third floor are almost empty when it comes to shops and also the cinema is not open yet.
What i liked quite much was that on the backside there is a garden with some Restaurants and green areas. This is really nice. I was tempted to have my breakfast at the Shakespeare & Co. outlet over there….

From Alghadeer this Mall is a 30 minutes drive away which is reasonable, but the amount of shops yet open would rather make me drive to Dubai right now.
