The coming January will see the release of the comedy movie “The Wedding Ringer” which is co written and directed by Jeremy Garelick who also wrote The Break Up.
The Plot in short: Jimmy (Hart) owns a wedding company and provides best man services for socially awkward guys who don’t have anyone close enough to be their best man. Doug (Gad) a groom-to-be, finds himself in that situation, but he also fabricates the names of nine other groomsmen as well. When all else fails, Doug seeks out Jimmy’s help to plan a charade designed to make Doug look his best, but threatens to destroy everything if it doesn’t work.
I am quite a Kevin Hart Fan and really can’t wait to see this one. The Movie will hit UAE cinemas on February 5, 2015. Meanwhile you can watch the Trailer below:

Another movie in the style of the classic Blair Witch movie is about to release in UAE cinemas soon.

I did not really read about the movie before so I went with pretty much no expectations to the movies and I must say this is an uncommonly well-made thriller.
The Plot in short: When a heroin wholesaler to the five boroughs seeks to revenge his murdered wife, the only one he trusts is P.I. Matt Scudder (Liam Neeson), ex-cop and sober alcoholic who wields his own brand of guerrilla justice. Preferring to talk himself out of tricky situations but ready to land a hard punch if not possible another way.
A Walk Among the Tombstones is a terrifying look at the dark side of humanity and very well worth watching. Liam Neeson is on the top of his game in this movie. You get ass-kicking Neeson with heartbroken Neeson, plus a little macho, a perfect combination. Based on Lawrence Block’s bestselling series of mystery novels this movie is having it all. I highly recommend to watch it on the big screen.
We went out yesterday to see Guardians of the Galaxy at the Reel Cinemas at The Beach in JBR. I had been looking forward for this flick for quite some time now.
The plot in short:
After stealing a mysterious orb in the far reaches of outer space, Peter Quill is now the main target of a manhunt led by the villain known as Ronan the Accuser. To help fight Ronan and his team and save the galaxy from his power, Quill creates a team known as the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ to save the world.
Guardians of the Galaxy is nothing short of an amazing movie. Not only does it have the impressive set pieces and enough action to last you a lifetime, it has an emotional core and you actually get to care about each and every single character. Overall this movie is filled with all the required thrills and spills and is a first class action movie. It also has a great mixture of comedic value and a deal of seriousness.
I am going to die surrounded by the biggest idiots in the galaxy.
As well the CGI in this film was super. I have never have a seen space look so good, the battles were incredible and Groot and Rocket never looked out of place (aside from being a tree and raccoon).
Guardians of the Galaxy has a distinct personality that sets it apart from other Marvel offerings, yet there are enough recognizable elements to remind audiences that it exists in the same world. Clocking in at just under two hours, the film maintains an impressively well-balanced pace, avoiding the problem of over-inflation that many superhero films fall victim to. I can’t think of a single moment when I wasn’t completely enthralled with everything that happens on screen, and as soon as the credits began to roll I was ready to watch it all over again.
This is a movie you have to watch on the big screen.
we had been out seeing Think Like a Man too at the Reel Cinemas at The Beach in JBR.
The Plot in short: All the couples are back for a wedding in Las Vegas, but plans for a romantic weekend go awry when their various misadventures get them into some compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event.
For me that was the worst movie I have seen so far this year. I did not have high expectations on it, but the trailer seemed funny. Well sadly there had not been many more funny scenes.
The Story is nothing really new somewhere between Bridesmaids and the Hangover. The story is pretty flat and mostly easy to precast. This was the first movie where I got so bored while watching that i grabbed my mobile to play around.
I would not recommend this flick at all as it is just not worth watching…
