My Top 10 Movie Theme Songs

I was just watching Men in Black last night once again when I thought that I really like the Theme Song “Men in Black” by Will Smith. So I thought I´ll just put on a list of my Top 10 Movie Theme Songs. I am not taking Instrumentals in consideration here. I might make a seperate top10 for that one at a later stage. And here is my list:

10.  Eminem – Lose Yourself – 8 Mile

Just Epic.

9. Irene Cara – What a Feeling – Flashdance

Love the 80´s synth sounds

8. Simple Minds – Don´t you – The Breakfast Club

Again 80´s synths sounds at its best. Simply love it.

7. Survivor – Eye of the Tiger – Rocky

matches the Movie perfectly and everybody thinks of Rocky once this tunes plays in Radios.

6. Simon & Garfunkel – Mrs. Robinson – The Graduate

5. The Bee Gees – Styin´Alive – Saturday Night Fever

4. Paul McCartney – Live and Let Die – James Bond

3. Adele – Skyfall – James Bond Skyfall

couldn´t choose which one I found more matching, but for me Adele is the best James Bond Movie Theme Singer

2. Will Smith – Men in Black – Men in Black

1. Kiss – God Gave Rock N´Roll To You – Bill and Ted´s Bogus Journey

An Epic Movie with a very young Keanu Reeves and an Epic Song by one of the biggest Rock Bands on Earth. The Guitar riff is just brilliant.

Well that was my Top 10. I could have added “Streets of Philadelphia” by Bruce Springsteen,  “Hakuna Matata,”  from The Lion King, “Unchained Melody,”  from Ghost, “Take My Breath Away” from Top Gun or even “My Heart will go on” from Titanic. But I didn´t. Thinking about it there are more and more songs coming to my mind. But for now this is my Top 10.
