Reviewed: “The Art of Brunch” at the Fountain restaurant at Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai

Last Friday we had been invited over to the Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments in Bur Dubai to try out their new “The Art of Brunch” at the Fountain restaurant. opposite  The Mövenpick Hotel & Apartment in Bur Dubai is located opposite to the American Hospital and is easy to find.

Lets start with the cool setting. A great ambiance accompanied by a good performance of a beautiful and talented pianist whose sounds from the piano kept us relaxed and comfortable while taking our brunch ,not even noticing how fast the time went ahead. We started at around 1:30 and we finished past 4pm. The idea of making the Lobby as a buffet area is quite cool and different and they are able to manage it very well. The proper placing of different booths for foodies like seafood area, sweets and dessert on the ground of the two stairways made the view very cool and elegant. The booth for cotton candy is also really entertaining, and that not only for the kids but also for the adults. The booth for mussles and oyster catched my attention as I am a seafood lover. Other than that, they have also an offer for Grilled platters where you can enjoy salmon, white fish, king shrimps as per your request at the live cooking stations. Soups are there as a starter and you can select whether you like to start with your selection of breads, cheese, fruits, dried fruits and beverages of your choice, wines are as well just around the corner.

On the Desserts side there is a massive choice of different kinds of cakes and pastries, sweets from different places, ice cream as well as crepes with ice cream.

They have even thought about parents, for who it is always difficult to go out without getting a babysitter, and set up a “Kids Paradise”, a place where kids can eat, drink and play under the supervision of the friendly staff.  The Kids can enjoy tons of activities such as painting, jumping castle, video games and much more while you have the peace to enjoy this brilliant brunch.

Overall, we loved the brunch with the huge selection and cozy atmosphere. The “Art of Brunch “ is priced at AED 195 per person, including soft drinks, or AED 295 per person, including house beverages. Kids below 12 years old may eat for free (up to 2 kids if above 6); those from 12 to 16 years will receive a
50% discount. This is a very reasonable price in my opinion considering for what you get.
