Movie Review: A Walk Among the Tombstones

We had been out yesterday tn the Premiere of A Walk Among the Tombstones starring Liam Neeson at the Novo Cinemas at the IBN Batutta Mall courtesy of Front Row Filmed Entertainment. movieposter

I did not really read about the movie before so I went with pretty much no expectations to the movies and I must say this is an uncommonly well-made thriller.

The Plot in short:   When a heroin wholesaler to the five boroughs seeks to revenge his murdered wife, the only one he trusts is P.I. Matt Scudder (Liam Neeson), ex-cop and sober alcoholic who wields his own brand of guerrilla justice. Preferring to talk himself out of tricky situations but ready to land a hard punch if not possible another way.

A Walk Among the Tombstones is a terrifying look at the dark side of humanity and very well worth watching.  Liam Neeson is on the top of his game in this movie.  You get ass-kicking Neeson with heartbroken Neeson, plus a little macho, a perfect combination. Based on Lawrence Block’s bestselling series of mystery novels this movie is having it all. I highly recommend to watch it on the big screen.

Movie Rating: 4.5 Stars (4.5 / 5)
