Movie Review: Blended

We went out to see the new Adam Sandler Movie Blended yesterday at the Reel Cinemas at The Beach, JBR.

The Plot in short: After a blind date gone horribly wrong, Jim and Lauren agree they never, ever want to see each other again. Well, that’s all about to change when the two find themselves and their respective families (including children) all stuck together in one suite at an African Safari vacation spot.

Hi, I’m Tom.

10 seconds Tom

After the Wedding Singer (1998) and 50 first Dates (2004) this is the third movie of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore starring together.  Special Good was that in a mall the Character of 10 second Tom from 50 first Dates appears in the same old role. Just saying Hi I’m Tom, again and again. Brilliant goof.

But now to the movie itself. Blended is a romantic comedy. But nevertheless the movie got me laughing almost all way through.  Sandler and Barrymore are acting very well together and the movie is just a sit back and relax feel good movie.  It is definitely worth seeing and enjoying. Yes it is often predictable but it doesn’t matter at all.24

The show was almost stolen by Terry Crews who plays Nickens who appears in the movie every now and then as back up singers. Whenever he came up it made me chuckle.  The location this was shot at is just beautiful and makes me really want to visit there. It just seems amazing.

Resume: If you want to have a fun evening at the movies. This is the right one to go for. You will not regret it.

Movie: 4.0 Stars (4.0 / 5)
