Review: Desert Safari with Arabian Adventures

We had yesterday a group event with Arabian Adventures.  We had the Sundowner Tour, which picks you up in our case in Abu Dhabi, drives you out of town into the desert, short stop to a camel Farm where you can take pictures and walk around while the drivers of the cars you are driven in are reducing the tyre pressure for the further way through the dunes.

The dune drive was really fun and seeing the other cars driving down or along a dune looked partially really scary, but is pure fun. I finally have learned why using a seat belt is very useful as well.

After stopping again on a dune to watch sunset which was great as well and gave everybody time to walk the dunes and take pictures we headed to the camp.

We did not book many extras as belly dancing or an DJ, but it was nevertheless fun. When we arrived 2 camels had been ready for camel riding and Shisha and an Arabic style BBQ. You had various Salads, meats and Atabic mezzeh. All over all pretty good.

I am living in the UAE since almost 4 years but this was the first time i did a desert safari. And i must say it is really worth doing it. I would recommend this tour to anybody who has not been in the desert yet and likes a thrill drive through the dunes.

Here are a few more pictures:

This tour with Arabian Adventures is on 315AED per Adult. Children are on 290AED.
