What is happening to the the Tamweel tower in JLT?

IMG_0518its now more than 9 months since the Tamweel tower in JLT coughed fire on 18th of November 2012. Since than not much progress is to see on repairing the building.  Owners and Tenants had been paid minor amounts to rent somewhere but nobody could since than move back in.  If i would be an owner on that tower i would be pretty pissed having paid for something i cannot use and not seeing any progress on when this might be possible. I am passing by Tamweel Tower every morning on my way to Abu Dhabi and every day i am thinking about what will happen with this piece of stones and steel…

The fire at the 34-storey building at Jumeirah Lakes Towers was caused by a discarded cigarette, according to a police report. It ignited highly flammable cladding and flames spread up one side of the building. The cladding has since been banned in new buildings.

Back in January it was mentioned that repairs will start within 3 months which does not seem to have happened…
