Based on millions of recent test results from Speedtest.net, this index compares and ranks consumer download speeds around the globe. The value is the rolling mean throughput in Mbps over the past 30 days where the mean distance between the client and the server is less than 300 miles.
While living in Hong Kong, Andorra and Taiwan gives you really high speeds Egypt, Syria and Equatorial Guinea a at the bottom of the list and with that countries i could not survive in as i need Internet, the faster the better…
I would have expected Germany to be quite far on the upper site, but would have not expected that Germany comes in on 24th place with the US only ranking 31st. The UAE as well surprisingly for me came in on 46th with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait on 66th, 69th and 72nd.
